Today, Gretna Public Schools administrators met to advance the Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment initiative of the district's Strategic Plan. Through breakout sessions, they developed actionable steps to integrate this initiative across all schools.

The Strategic Plan, created with input from students, teachers, parents, administrators, and community members, outlines four key focus areas: Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment, Growth, Climate, and Culture, Mental Health, and Recruitment and Retention.

“Our team is focused on translating this plan into real improvements in classrooms,” said Travis Lightle, Superintendent. “Today’s work lays the foundation for long-term progress in Gretna.”
