At our district, we believe that every parent, grandparent, and community member plays a crucial role in educating our students. Achieving a well-rounded education for every student requires teamwork among teachers, administrators, parents, and community members.

Families and community members strengthen our schools. When students see family and community members involved in school activities, they understand that education is important. Parent involvement is the top indicator of academic success. Studies indicate that students perform much better academically when their parents are involved at their school. They also have better attendance and are more likely to graduate and continue their education.

Community involvement matters. Community members bring diverse experiences, skills, and perspectives that enrich our schools. Their participation helps create a supportive network, strengthening community bonds and enhancing the educational experience. It's all about building a community.

Helping at your child's school is a great way to connect with others. You get to know the teachers, staff, and other parents better, fostering stronger relationships with your child and the school staff. When parents take time to get involved, it shows their child that they care and that education is a family value.
