Gretna Public Schools Welcomes Two New Assistant Principals
Gretna, NE - December 20, 2024 - Gretna Public Schools is excited to announce the appointment of two new assistant principals who will contribute to the district’s ongoing commitment to student growth, staff support, and community engagement.
Trent Steele and Zach Fleer will both serve as Assistant Principals at Gretna High School beginning the 2025-2026 school year.
Trent Steele brings 21 years of experience in education, including roles in student services, human resources, high school administration, as a social studies teacher. Mr. Steele has previously worked at Papillion La Vista Community Schools and Kearney Public Schools. He is dedicated to a positive learning environment and ensuring that every student has the opportunity to maximize their potential.
Zach Fleer is currently serving as an Instructional Coordinator at Lincoln Northeast High School within the Lincoln Public Schools. He has experience as a physical education teacher, and his wife will also be joining the Gretna Public Schools as a school psychologist. He is eager to promote academic excellence and build strong relationships with students, staff, and families.
