Hello! I am so excited to be a part of the opening of Cedar Hollow Elementary. This is my first year as a school librarian. However, this is my 6th year teaching. Sharing the love of reading is what brought me in to this position.

I graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a BS in Elementary Education. I earned my MA from Northwest Missouri State University as well in Curriculum and Instruction. After a few years off of school, I am back earning my K-12 Endorsement in School Library through UNO.

My husband Jake and I have three wild dogs at home. Phoebe (8), Herbie (10), and Walter (4). They keep us busy! We are over the moon to welcome our first baby in February! We love to spend time with our families, travel the world, and watch Husker Games!

Hello! My name is Cheyenne Maggio. I am the library para at Cedar Hollow Elementary School. This is my 4th year in the Gretna School District. The first 3 years I spent working as a special education para at Harvest Hills Elementary School. I have a strong passion for all things books and I love finding ways to engage students in reading. My husband and I have 2 dogs (more like children) Mabel and Diesel. We enjoy boating, camping, and spending quality time together. Although we live in Bellevue now, I’ve been apart of the Gretna community for 4 years now and absolutely love it!
